Pre-defined segments are out-of-the-box, ready-made segments available in your account so that you don’t need to create common queries from scratch. Each pre-defined segment allows you to modify the values used in data categories to customize them for your organization’s use case.

Pre-defined segments also come with suggestions on how they can be used in marketing automations, bulk messaging, or as a filter in reporting to give your organization new ideas for how to better segment your audience.

The number of qualifying supporters in your account will show in the Count column:

Predefined segments will refresh and pick up new supporters when they are manually ran from the Predefined Segments menu as shown above, or when they are included in a broadcast audience. Before the email sends, the segment will be rerun to pick up any new supporters that qualify before the message goes out.
