Exporting Templates From Marketing Tools Components

You should already have access to the Marketing Tools module and know how to use blocks and templates.

In this article, we will walk you through the steps you’ll need to take in order to export a template from your account.

Step 1: Navigate to the templates section.

 Go to Marketing Tools > Components > Templates.

Step 2: Navigate to the templates section.

On the Templates screen, find the template you would like to export and click the pencil icon to take you to the template editor. 

Step 3: Start The Export

Click the “Export Template” button in the upper right corner.

Step 4: Export The Template JSON

On the pop-up screen, click on the Export Template button to export the template as a .json file.

Your designs will be exported as a .json file for later importing, or you can directly copy the text from the code area.

If you want to include custom blocks in your template, on the export screen remember to check the box next to where it says Export Options.

If you don’t include custom blocks in your export, your file will include only global settings for your email template and the content container will be empty.
