Segments - AI Defined Segments

AI Defined Segments requires an additional license, at no extra cost. Reach out to your ASM to enquire.

Using technology built by Engaging Networks sister company, Accessible Intelligence, you can leverage the power of AI to segment your audience.

Accessible Intelligence is able to classify your emails using data from Engaging Networks as First Emotion Positive or Negative and then map that to your transactional data to see which supporters have clicked or converted. Accessible Intelligence then is able to segment supporters by their historical preference for emails with First Emotion Positive or Negative.

When you have this Segment you are able to more carefully target your audience with the kind of email content that is more likely to generate clicks and conversions.

Available AI Segments

First Emotion is what you want the reader to feel at the beginning of your email. Are you starting on a high note or beginning with bad news? Many emails contain multiple emotions, creating a story for the reader, but First Emotion is only concerned with the first paragraph or two - approximately 50 words.

Accessible Intelligence does not classify the content created based on these segments, so you need to make sure that your email content matches the segment description (eg, if you are sending an email to people in the First Emotion Positive segment, make sure your email content starts off with a positive emotion)

First Emotion Positive

The email begins on a positive note. This could include joy about a campaign win, excitement for an upcoming event, or simply an uplifting description of a pleasant scene.

Example: ‘The Amazon rainforest is home to countless unique species - from tiny pygmy marmosets to majestic jaguars. Thanks to Evil Corporation Ltd’s recent pledge to end deforestation, we’re now one step closer to protecting these incredible creatures.’

First Emotion Negative

The email begins on a negative note. This could include disappointment about a recent loss, anger at an ongoing injustice, or a warning for the future.
